    Multiple units here

I purchased my first 8-ft 1/2 cord rack several years ago and it's still in use and sturdy. I now have 4 8-ft racks as I recently purchased 3 additional 8-ft racks and just finished assembly them and already have stacked wood. The sturdiness of these units makes it possible for them to be setup on sloping ground (5-10 degree slope), permitting placing a 15" x 4" x 4" pressure treated block under the downhill legs -- basically just to make it look "somewhat" level. I also place a pressure treated 15" x 2' x 6" support under the middle support leg - this may prevent sagging, but I've never notice sagging on my first rack, but I think it would help.
Only requires one person to assemble but having two would make life easy. The covers are really a nice to have, well made and I still have the cover from my first rack, from 7+ years ago.

I highly recommend any of the Woodhaven Racks.

My only comments to Woodhaven is:
    1. the pre-drilled holes should be deburred [completely] to remove fragments from the drilling.
    2. possible make the holes slightly larger, about 1/32, so bolts can be easily inserted without having to use a hammer to get them through, deburring the holes would help.
    3. the provide tools are stripped too easily upon tightening bolts/nuts.

    Happy Racking

    Nice product!

Kind of wish I had ordered a cover for it…….

    • Do We Sell Firewood?

No, we do not offer firewood at the moment. You will want to search for a local supplier for deliveries.

    • How Long Do The Covers Last?

Given that the covers are made out of material they will most likely need to be replaced every 2 to 5 years depending on your preference. With that said, we do try to provide the best long lasting covers.

    • How Do I Know If I need A Full Cover?

Full covers work great for areas that receive a considerable amount of rain or snowfall. We strongly suggest that only cured or seasoned wood be put inside a full cover. Do not put freshly cut wood in a full cover for drying purposes.

    • How Much Firewood Will Fit In A Rack?

This all depends on how long your firewood is cut. We base our cord volume on 24" long wood cuts. Some firewood dealers supply logs shorter than 24". This information is valuable to you and your supplier when ordering your next load of firewood.

    • Do I Need Support Bases?

Our bases are designed to do a number of things. First they are made to keep your firewood rack from sinking into the dirt and mud to prevent rusting. If you have a nice deck or finished concrete they can come in handy to keep the rack from any potential damage. Just depends on preference and situation.
